Oxygen goes from the lungs through the pulmonary veins to the heart, then through the aorta to various arteries, arterioles, capillaries, and finally end up in the tissues. Oppositely, carbon dioxide moves from the tissues to capillaries, venules, veins, to the heart, then through the pulmonary arteries and to the lungs to be released.

Carbon dioxide created in the tissues is attached to hemoglobin in the blood and carried through the veins to the lungs, where it is released into the alveoli (air sacks in the lungs). When the lung is compressed during exhalation, the air in the alveoli, which has a higher concentration of carbon dioxide, is moved out through the nose or mouth to the outside air.

It's a good question! You have got the carbon bi oxide generated from biological oxidation. This is carried to the right side of heart. Mostly in dissolved state in the blood. From there blood goes to the lungs. Here the blood comes in contact with millions of tiny air pockets, placed at the terminal end of the bronchial tree. Here the carbon bi oxide is transferred by diffusion. From blood to the air in the tiny air pockets. The air is exhaled out through bronchial tree and trachea. Then through the larynx, then to pharynx and then out through the nose.

Carbon dioxide leaves the body through the lungs. Water vapor can also go out this way. However; water vapor often leaves through the skin in a process called perspiration.

Dexoygenated blood enters by the pulmonary arteries that leads to a capillary and carbon dioxide diffuses into the alveolus from the red blood cell. Carbon dioxide leaves through the bronchioles which becomes the bronchi then joins the trachea. Carbon dioxide exits the body through the pharynx to return back into the world

Why do you inhale and exhale?

because your body extracts the oxygen from the air in your lungs and as a result the ratio of carbon dioxide to oxygen in increased. Edit: During aerobic respiration, your body produces carbon dioxide from the breakdown of glucose to create ATP. Carbon dioxide is also produced during fermentation.

Name two waste products that have to be removed from the body?

The two main waste products of respiration are Water (H2O) and Carbon Dioxide (CO2).

Does the human body create carbon dioxide?

YES!!! You inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide.

What is sent out of the body every time you exhale?

When you exhale, you actually release oxygen, nitrogen and other gasses. But most of all you release more carbon dioxide. People often think that the lungs must be full of carbon dioxide but they are not. The percentage of gas in the lungs that is highest is nitrogen. It isn't used by your body but is important in keeping your lungs inflated. But all-in-all, you exhale more carbon dioxide than you inhale.

What body organs excrete carbon dioxide and water?
