hands span and feet
There are three ways to measure volume. If you are measuring a liquid, you need a graduated cyliner. If you are measuring the volume of a regular solid, you need a ruler to measure length, width, and height. You would then use the formula V=LxWxH. The third way to measure volume is to use displacement to find the volume of an irregular solid. You would put a certain amount of water in a graduated cylinder, write the starting amount down. Add the irregular solid to the graduated cylinder. Record the ending amount of liquid and subtract the ending amount minus the starting amount.
One of the better ways would be to use a sling psychrometer.
A unit is an agreed amount of whatever is being measured. We all agree to compare something to the same thing. For instance, you could measure the length of a room by how many of your feet would fit it. If I do the same thing with my feet we'd get a different answer, so we all have to agree whose feet to use. That would be a standard foot. Most units evolved gradually like this, and their precise definitions have changed as people found new ways to be more accurate. So, we can measure length in units of feet, inches and miles, or in grams and kilograms, but if you don't say what you're using any number you give is meaningless, so ALWAYS WRITE THE UNIT.
Well there are many different ways to measure binary solutions. But when we are talking about particles then i would say ppm is the best measurement. You cannot measure particle in a volume rather use a specific measurement method like Moles in Volume. You can find all the ways to measure your solution you are trying to measure in Solutions page of wikipedia.
To some extent the early man can be considered to be a scientist. They are the ones who discovered most of the things in the world in their own native ways but only lacked scientific explanations.
to measure sound from distance use decibels
You measure length in many ways: using a ruler or yardstick, using a string or tape measure, using a machine to drive or fly over a distance, or using a satellite. Length is measured in units such as centimeters, meters, kilometers, or inches, yards and miles.
Pace Count
You can measure it by using absolute magnitude.
You can measure its width, height, length, radius and diameter!! :0 ;)
An odometer measures distance traveled by a wheeled vehicle. There are various tools, mostly optical or electronic such as radar, that measure distance from a fixed point. A ruler is often used to measure distance on a map, converting the measurement to the scale found on the map legend.
idrk haha
there are many different ways but I would go with yards.
There is no way to convert between feet (length) and square feet (area). A square foot is a measure of area while feet are a measure of distance. The two measure different things. To get square footage, you have to have a length in feet and a width in feet.
If you want to measure the speed of something, you first have to recall that speed is (distance traveled) divided by (time to travel the distance), and then you realize that you have to measure the distance it travels and the time it takes to travel that distance. If it happens to be the speed of light, then you immediately have a serious problem. The speed of light is so great that ... -- If you pick a distance that's easy to measure, then the time is impossibly short. For example, if you pick ten miles, then you have to accurately measure 0.00005368 of one second, which is pretty tough. -- If you pick a time that's easy to measure, then the distance is ridiculously long. For example, if you pick 0.1 second, then you have to accurately measure 18,628.2 miles, which is enormously tough. Both of these methods are theoretically and technically perfect, and completely impossible to actually use for the speed of light. You have to invent whole new clever ways to measure speed.
There are two ways to find the distance traveled. One is to measure the distance traveled. The other is to measure the distance raveled within a certain amount of time and then multiply to find how far it will travel in the future.
