Farmers would rotate their fields, and plant clover to replenish the soil, or use permaculture and composting methods instead of harmful chemicals.

Farmers would use grazing animals on resting fields, and sell their crop at higher price due to lower, but sustainable, yield. This would support their families, and lessen a burden on urban areas, while offering employment.

Food we eat would be more nutritious per kilo/pound of ingredients, and the health care bills would go down.

Overall, with all the hidden socio-economic cost of food/poison accounted for, the "price" of organic food is lower.

Eat to your health, or eat yourself cheaply into an early and expensive grave...
