because they almost never go away and can have damaging affects on man made systems they also can be the cause of animal deaths which hurts the environment therefore in the long run hurting us. also when they do finally degrade they release toxic ingredients that can destroy the most basic life- bacteria. believe it or not many bacteria are essential for the balance of ecosystems. and anyway we evolved from bacteria. only god knows what other wierd creatures will come out of it someday.

i hope this helped

How many types of garbage?

There are generally three main types of garbage: organic waste, recyclable materials, and non-recyclable waste. Organic waste includes biodegradable items like food scraps and yard waste. Recyclable materials consist of items like paper, metals, and certain plastics that can be processed and reused. Non-recyclable waste includes items that cannot be recycled or composted, such as certain plastics and contaminated materials.

What us the problem with waste generation?

The problem with waste generation lies in its environmental impact, as excessive waste contributes to pollution, habitat destruction, and climate change. Landfills can release harmful substances into the soil and waterways, while incineration emits greenhouse gases and toxic pollutants. Additionally, the overconsumption and disposal of materials often lead to depletion of natural resources. Effective waste management and reduction strategies are essential to mitigate these issues and promote sustainability.

What are the two main groups of garbage and rubbish?

The two main groups of garbage and rubbish are biodegradable waste and non-biodegradable waste. Biodegradable waste includes organic materials, such as food scraps and yard waste, which can decompose naturally. Non-biodegradable waste consists of materials that do not break down easily, such as plastics, metals, and glass. Proper segregation of these waste types is essential for effective recycling and waste management.

What is 6 categories of garbage?

The six categories of garbage typically include: Organic Waste: Biodegradable materials like food scraps and yard waste. Recyclables: Materials such as paper, cardboard, glass, and certain plastics that can be processed and reused. Hazardous Waste: Dangerous items like batteries, chemicals, and certain electronics that require special disposal. E-Waste: Discarded electronic devices, including computers and smartphones, which contain toxic components. Construction Debris: Waste generated from construction and renovation, including wood, concrete, and metal. Landfill Waste: Non-recyclable and non-biodegradable items that are sent to landfills, such as certain plastics and Styrofoam.

Just put them in normal waste.

What is the disadvantage of burying plastics to dispose of them?

Burying plastics to dispose of them can lead to significant environmental issues, as plastics do not decompose easily and can remain in landfills for hundreds of years, leaching harmful chemicals into the soil and groundwater. Additionally, this method does not address the root problem of plastic waste generation and can contribute to land and resource degradation. Over time, buried plastics can also break down into microplastics, which can contaminate ecosystems and enter the food chain.

What are the problems with disposing of waste plastics in landfill sites?

Disposing of waste plastics in landfill sites presents several problems, including long decomposition times that can stretch from hundreds to thousands of years, leading to persistent environmental pollution. Plastics can leach harmful chemicals into the soil and groundwater, posing risks to ecosystems and human health. Additionally, landfill space is limited, and as plastic waste accumulates, it contributes to the growing waste crisis, exacerbating climate change through methane emissions from organic waste decomposing in the same sites. Finally, the visual and physical presence of plastics in landfills can detract from land use and contribute to landscape degradation.

Is plastic reusable?

no,actually plastics are not wastefull ,after usage they can be used again and again ,we must recycle them properly.plastics after usage can be melted and shaped into different new products, this process can be repeated to make good use of those plastics .so plastics are never a waste ,people throw them like a waste ,but they are used in many other operation after using them first,on the other hand ,the most important thing ,if we are making use of same plastics through recycling ,then we are protecting our environment from the adverse effect of the plastics
