Conduction of heat is possible only in case of solids. In solids the atoms have been arranged in array forming lattice pattern. They are held up by metallic bonds. So heat conduction means the vibrational energy is transported from one atom or molecule to the other. But in case of fluids, ie both liquids and gases, there are no such bondage of atoms or molecules. So conduction is not possible, but convection becomes possible as the molecules or atoms they transfer the heat energy by transitory motion.
Gases are made when you heat up solids or liquids. Liquids are made when you cool down gases or heat up solids. Solids are made when you cool down gases or solids. When you heat up solids they make liquids and when you heat up liquids it makes gases. When you heat up gases it makes plasma (plas-mu) but that is very very very very very very hard to make.
It is the process of transfer of heat from one place to other with actual movement of heated particles. Convention of heat take place in fluids and gases .
convection
Heat generated at the core.
ions
When gases lose heat they condensate into liquids.
Solids ---heat---> Liquids ---more heat---> gases
They are generally called Greenhouses gases, as greenhouses trap heat into the glass.
The name given to gases that trap heat and cause global warming is Greenhouse gases.
The atmospheric gases carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide are all greenhouse gases that help to heat the Earth.
It moves mainly by radiating through gases.
Greenhouse gases are gases in the Earth's atmosphere that trap heat energy and contribute to the greenhouse effect, leading to global warming and climate change. They include carbon dioxide, methane, and water vapor.
The three major gases that trap heat in Earth's atmosphere are carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and water vapor (H2O). These gases are known as greenhouse gases and help regulate the Earth's temperature by trapping heat from the sun.
The process by which gases hold heat in the atmosphere is called the greenhouse effect. This occurs when certain gases in the atmosphere trap heat from the sun, leading to an increase in temperature on Earth. Some of the key greenhouse gases include carbon dioxide, methane, and water vapor.
atually a apple can connduct more than lemons, tomatoes, onion, or potatoes. It can get about 1.018 volts
Diatomic gases can absorb heat to increase their vibrational and rotational energy in addition to their translational energy. Monatomic gases have no bonds to vibrate or rotate.
Gases are generally worse conductors of heat compared to liquids. This is because gases have more space between their particles, leading to less interaction and slower heat transfer. Liquids have particles that are closer together, allowing heat to be transferred more efficiently.
