herbivores have special digestive system which allows them to digest grass . earlier humans were also able to eat grass when there was no tradition or science to eat cooked food .but with the increase of science, humans started eating cooked food while ignoring raw food like grass,leaves. with time,human's digestive organs that were used to digest raw food (grass,leaves) became extinct.that is y now humans are not able to digest grass
