Yes, partially. Trees give us oxygen (which is a gas we breath). Most of the air in our atmosphere is made up of nitrogen (around 78%). Oxygen, carbon dioxide and water vapor make up the majority of the rest of the air, of which trees only give us oxygen. Oxygen is the second most common element in air though; so I would still have to say yes.
Humans and most animals on our planet breathe in oxygen and breathe out carbon-dioxide. Yet trees breathe in the carbon-dioxide we breathe out and breathe out oxygen which we need to breathe in. Of course don't give us all our oxygen either. Most of the oxygen replenishment comes from sea weed (or sea algae). But the simple answer to your question is yes.
Oh, and Al Gore is a liar. That is always a good ending to a good answer about the air in our atmosphere.
air is mostly made pf nitrogen and oxygen
oxygen is used by all living beings for respiration. ozone (three atoms of oxygen make one molecule of ozone) helps in sustaining the appropriate temperature required for sustenance on earth. nitrogen is used as a major diet constituent.
Plants use CO2 from the air in photosynthesis and give off O2 as bye product. Thus ratio of O2 is maintained in the air by plants.
Air gives us oxygen, but not just to people to all living creatures.
We give plants Carbon Dioxide and then they give us oxygen.
We need oxygen to breathe.
plant have a ponit
"Air" is the most important cycle that exists between the atmosphere and earth, e.g. a sustained cycle between plants on earth and the air we breathe, and humans. Air is important as a natural resource because we AND plants must breathe. Plants use carbon dioxide which humans breathe out. Humans breathe in oxygen, which plants give off. Without these two components of "air" or if these became out of balance, both plants and humans would die.
The everyday items that use air are humans like you and animals.
Coz we have nothing else to do
Yes. The air is 21% oxygen which is what humans run on. It is 79% nitrogen which we filter out. I learned this today in Health class.
pollutant
air is very important for animals and plants and humans for breathing in humans and animals and for photosynthesis in plants .
Oxygen
The most important aspect of air is that it keeps humans and animals alive. The air contains the oxygen that we need to breathe.

no because some people think another gas is important
Air is very important to human survival because it contains oxygen, which humans need to live.
because fish need it to breathe. just like humans need air to breate. to fish, water is air.
Humans
Because it protects the Sun's radiant ray's and protects animals and humans from getting skin cancer.
An air filter.
Air has oxygen in it, without which we will not be able to survive. There is also some carbon dioxide in the air which is taken by the plants and give off oxygen in return. Oxygen is very important for life.
the use of fossil fuels by humans had tainted the air and atmosphere
