What happened to cromwell?

During his life or after it? Cromwell had been buried secretly in Westminster Abbey, a very holy and prestigious place to be buried. The public found out about his burial place about two years after his death. They dug up his body, tied it to the back of a cart (on a noose) and dragged his body through London. After a while, when most of the limbs had fallen off, they chopped off his head and dumped his remains outside of London.

Where is Charles Darwin's grave?

he is buried in Westminster Abbey The Dean of Westminster, George Granville Bradley, was away in France when he received a telegram forwarded from the President of the Royal Society in London saying "...it would be acceptable to a very large number of our fellow-countrymen of all classes and opinions that our illustrious countryman, Mr Darwin, should be buried in Westminster Abbey". The Dean recalled " I did not hesitate as to my answer and telegraphed direct...that my assent would be cheerfully given". The body lay overnight in the Abbey, in the small chapel of St Faith, and on the morning of 26 April the coffin was escorted by the family and eminent mourners into the Abbey. The pall-bearers included Sir Joseph Hooker, Alfred Russel Wallace, James Russell Lowell (U.S. Ambassador), and William Spottiswoode (President of the Royal Society). The burial service was held in the Lantern, conducted by Canon Prothero, with anthems sung by the choir. The chief mourners then followed the coffin into the north aisle of the Nave where Darwin was buried next to the eminent scientist Sir John Herschel, and a few feet away from Sir Isaac Newton. The simple inscription on his grave reads "CHARLES ROBERT DARWIN BORN 12 FEBRUARY 1809. DIED 19 APRIL 1882".

When did sir Issac newton die?

Sir Isaac Newton died at the age of 84.More info:Mr. Newton died in London on 31st March, 1727, and was buried in Westminster Abbey. After his death, Newton's body was discovered to have had massive amounts of mercury in it, probably resulting from his alchemical pursuits. Mercury poisoning could explain Newton's eccentricity in late life.Isaac Newton was 85 years old and had a kidney stone which caused him great suffering. On 18th March 1727 he became delirious at around 6pm and stayed in that state until Monday 20th March when he died between one and two in the morning.

What does the quarry company spend most its money on?

They spend their money on:MachineryExploding bombsWorkers wagesHope this helpsBy Alex and AbbeyWhile we do not use exploding bombs, we do use a lot of explosives. Machinery is one of the highest costs- a bulldozer or front end loader can easily cost $250,000- large off road dump trucks are higher- and they burn a lot of diesel fuel. Our electrical bill is rather high- power for the crushers and conveyors. We also have to maintain all that equipment, which costs money. Besides salaries for the workers, we also have to pay for licenses and fees, and insurance for the quarry.

What achievements was Isaac Newton most famous for in history?

*he founded the 3 laws of motion and he founded the theory of gravity. He is most famous for his laws of motion, but he also invented a reflecting telescope and conducted many dangerous experiments on light. He was an amazing physicist, mathematician, theologian natural philosopher and alchemist and was buried at Westminster abbey. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential people in human history. It's hard to say, but probably the "discovery" of gravity and his theory of Universal Gravitation. Newton's First, Second and Third laws are also very famous. Newton's First Law states that an object moving at a constant velocity or at rest will remain as it is unless acted on by a force. Newton's Second Law states that the acceleration of an object depends on its mass and the force acting on it (F = ma). Newton's Third Law states that for every force, there is an equal and opposite force exerted.Newton is also famous for the invention of calculus.Isaac Newton was famous for the laws of Gravitation and motion. He invented a new branch of mathematics celled calculus, and reveal the secrets of light and color all in an eighteen month period.Newton is famous for a number of things. In physics he is famous for his notions of gravity and motion. He is said to be the one who originated the idea of gravity. He created some equations to explain gravity and motion. And he also created the famous Laws of Motion which explains how and why moving bodies act the way they do.In mathematics, Newton and Gregory Leibniz are both jointly credited for inventing calculus.
