Best Answer

Warm air rises quicklier then cold air. When those two meet, the warmer and lighter air rises OVER the colder and heavier air. If the warm air rises the warm air coolsdown when it's very high, and then the warm air forms clouds. A front is the place where cold and warm air meets. Along fronts in Europe, there are found a lot of rain and clouds most of the time.

Frontal rainfall is caused by the lifting of warm, moist air when a warm air mass meets a cold air mass. As the warm air rises and cools, it condenses to form clouds and precipitation. This type of rainfall is common in regions where air masses with different temperatures collide, such as in mid-latitude regions.

The earths precipitation occurs as convectional orographic or?

The Earth's precipitation occurs through convectional, orographic, or frontal mechanisms. Convectional precipitation happens when warm air rises, cools, and forms clouds. Orographic precipitation occurs when moist air is forced to rise over a mountain, leading to cooling and rainfall. Finally, frontal precipitation happens at the boundary of two air masses with different temperatures and moisture levels, causing the warm air to rise and condense into precipitation.

Type of rain when heating causes air to rise?

The type of rain that occurs when heating causes air to rise is called convective rainfall. This happens when warm air at the surface heats up and rises, cools down as it reaches higher altitudes, and eventually condenses to form raindrops.
