Persia and Iran are the same country. Iran (or Persia) has been changed geographically during 2500 years of Iranian history. The actual geography of Iran is roughly the same since 1500s:

- to the north is Caspian sea and old Russian countries (since 1990, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Turkmenistan)

- the east is Afghanistan and Pakistan

- the west is Turkey and Iraq

- the south is Persian Gulf and Oman sea

Persia, also known as modern-day Iran, has a diverse geography that includes mountain ranges, plateaus, deserts, and coastal regions along the Caspian Sea and the Persian Gulf. It is bordered by the Zagros Mountains to the west and the Alborz Mountains to the north, with the deserts of Dasht-e Kavir and Dasht-e Lut in the central regions. The country's geography has influenced its history, culture, and economic activities.

What is difference between geography and systemetic geography?

Geography is a broad field that studies the Earth's physical features and how human activity interacts with the environment. Systematic geography, on the other hand, focuses on specific aspects within geography, such as climatology, geomorphology, or urban geography. Systematic geography delves deeper into the study of particular components of geography, while geography as a whole encompasses a more holistic view of the Earth and its processes.
