The Jura mountains are located in Eastern France and extend into Switzerland in Western Europe.

The Vosges, the Jura and the Alps are three mountain ranges on the eastern side of mainland France: the Vosges sitting near the regions of Loraine and alsace, the Jura further south on the Swiss border, the Alps stretching from the Mediterranean sea, upwards along the Italian border, then turning into Switzerland and Austria.

There are two small countries south of France: Andorrawhich is nudged in the Pyrenees mountains between France and Spain; and Monaco on the French Riviera, close to Italy.
