The same thing about countries and continents is that they are both land but, continents are just divided up in land called countries, we divide them up for better navigation, for others can have some land to because it just wouldn't be fair if one person controlled all of Asia.

Continents are the bigger objects within their given space. Antarctica, Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, South America and Australia are the Major Continents of the World. Are countries and continents the same thing?

No. a continent refers to a land mass and there are 6 continents - Asia, America, Europe, Africa, Australia and Antarctica. (some people believe that there are 7 with north America and south America being counted separately) A country is a politically organised region. For the most part continents contain many different countries with the exception of course of Australia which is both a country and a continent.
