There would be no more grizzly bears which may tamper with the ecosystem because now there will be an over population of fish and other things they bears used to eat.
Polar bears are not extinct. They are still around in limited numbers in the wild, and in zoos. They will probably never be extinct. Even if they are only found in zoos, they will always be a few polar bears around. Bears HAVE instinct much like people have instinct. So take that as a Yes or No. Or if you mean "are bears EXTINCT" then No. Instinct and extinct are not opposites.
