The dividing line of east and west hemisphere is the City of Jerusalem, in Israel. The missionary Paul was instructed by God to go west to spread the gospel from that city, Paul tried to go east of Jerusalem but God said "Go west", From Jerusalem became the reference, Middle East and Far East, Europe is west and America is the Western New World. When the Gospel left Jerusalem 2000 years ago, it has been spreading westward and circumnavigating the globe, it has already reached the Far east thru the western route, then will spread back to the middle east the finally back to Israel.
