The shortest land border between continents is the border between Africa and Asia, which is mainly marked by the Suez Canal in Egypt, with a length of around 120 meters (394 feet). Another short land border between continents is the border between Europe and Asia, which is defined by the Ural River and the Ural Mountains in Russia, with a length of about 300 kilometers (186 miles).
Asia
Australia is the continent with the shortest land border, as it is completely surrounded by water with no land connections to other continents.
The shallow underwater plain that borders continents is called a continental shelf. It is an underwater extension of a continent's land mass that gradually slopes into the ocean. The continental shelf is an important area for marine biodiversity and is often rich in marine resources.
A land area that contains two continents is called an isthmus. It serves as a narrow strip of land connecting two larger landmasses, separating two bodies of water. Examples include the Isthmus of Panama connecting North and South America, and the Isthmus of Suez connecting Africa and Asia.
The longest land border between any two continents is between Asia and Africa, specifically at the border shared by Egypt and Israel. This border separates the African continent from the Asian continent at the Sinai Peninsula region.

No continents. Two countries: Canada and Mexico
it is debatable where the land borders between the continents are located & even whether they exist at all but most people might agree that the land border between Africa & Asia & the one between north & south America are shorter than the one between Europe & Asia & indeed there would not appear to be any others in the world than those 3 by any definition or opinion as for which is the shorter one of these shorter two & thus the shortest of all which you didnt ask but may have meant certainly the isthmus of panama is much narrower than the isthmus of Suez & its canal much shorter too so there is reason to conjecture that the border between the Americas if any & wherever it may actually lie is the shortest intercontinental land border in the world

Canada has only two land borders with the US. One with the contiguous states and the other with Alaska. These are therefore the two shortest and longest borders.
Neither Antarctica nor Australia have land borders with other continents. North America is connected to South America (separated at the surface by the Panama Canal). Europe, Asia, and Africa have land borders (Eurasia is actually one land mass, and the Suez Canal is actually entirely within Africa).
Pennsylvania has the shortest international land boundary of all the US states. The border between Pennsylvania and Canada is 42 miles long. The border between Canada and Idaho is 45 miles long. Alaska shares 1,538 miles of border with Canada.

The borders between China and Russia meet between Mongolia and Kazakhstan.
