It appears that ebt cards are useable in other states. I can use my Colorado ebt card in Texas. I found this out recently (like in the past 2 years or so). I believe that your ebt card will work just fine in other states, now that the ebt system is computerized.

I'd say give it a try, and see how it goes. I always tell the cashier that: "I'm going to be trying my out-of-state card, and hopefully it will go through." (And when it didn't a few years ago, my mother was right there to pay for the groceries I was trying to purchase). I really think you won't have a problem, though.
