What has been the effect of population growth and human activities on natural resources?

Growth and activities are depleting our Natural Resources along with consumption and greed and inability to find and accept alternative sources of energy.


In addition to the big resources being depleted, we are destroying habitats and the living environments of wild animals due to expansion and construction and soon we will be living among the bears, foxes and wolves, but wait, we already are.

In some cases, humans can cause other animal populations to decrease, such as endangered species like polar bears and condors. In other cases, humans can cause animal populations to explode, like cattle and dogs.

As population grows there is a drain on natural resources including water, food, and supplies of fuel. Global warming resulting from the increase in greenhouse gases in populated areas has created climate changes that also put a strain on natural resources.
