The first secular government in existence was the government in India, which included secularism in it's constitution at 1972.historically secularism was observed by few emperors n kings,Asoka was secular despite the fact he spreaded budhhism in many other countries,Akbar was also hugely tolernt and interested in other religions, his court under his orders translated vedas, upanishads n gita n urdu and pharshi.Constantine of roman empire also was very tolerant of other religions.there are other examples in history.
