Islam is not. Claims that Islam is spreading in America rapidly is flawed as it relies on percentage increase. As there are very few Muslims in America any increase by Immigration has a large affect in percentage terms. The reason for this increase is immigration and not conversions. Cause Islam has good answers and it's not to expalin to people. Try to explain TRINITY to a non-christian!

The word "Islam" itself means "Submission to Allah." The religion of Islam is not named after a person as in the case of "Christianity" which was named after Jesus Christ, "Buddhism" after Gutama Buddha , "Marxism" after Karl Marx, and "Confucianism" after Confucius. Similarly, Islam is not named after a tribe like "Judaism" after the tribe of Judah and "Hinduism" after the Hindus. The Arabic word "Islam" means the submission or surrender of one's will to the will of the only true god worthy of worship, "Allah" (known as God "the Father" in Christianity). Anyone who does indeed submit to the will of Allah as required by Islam is termed a "Muslim," which means one who has submitted to the will of Allah. Many people in the West have developed the sad misinformed trend of calling Islam "Muhammadenism" and it's followers "Muhammadins." This is a totally foreign word to Muslims and unrecognized by them. No Muslim has ever called his religion "Muhammadenism" or called himself a "Muhammadin

1. Islam is a true and logic God religion. Some claim that Islam was spread by war or by sword. This is a false argument for many reasons. One of these reasons is that the Muslim country of the biggest population is Indonesia while Muslims never invaded Indonesia. The statistics on Western Conversion to Islam are taken out of context.

Multi-culturalism in the West has allowed Islam to come to various countries and expose new people to its religion. We would see the same going on in Islamic Countries if they were open to multi-culturalism. However, many Muslim-majority countries it is either by law or by de facto societal conduct that conversion out of Islam to other religions (such as Christianity) is forbidden and punishable by death. No Muslim-majority country has established legislation protecting Apostates. Several, such as Iran and Saudi Arabia use the government to enforce the Apostasy Crimes, but many more do not interfere when tribal or regional groups execute a supposed Apostate. On top of that, proselytization of these non-Muslim faiths is also punishable by long jail terms. As a result, Muslims who realize the Truth of other religions are few and far between and those who would admit to doing so are even rarer. Islam can afford to wait until the majority of people make the choice to convert, because once you join, you can't leave, which leads to consistent positive growth. This is augmented by the fact that the Muslim world has some of the highest population growth rates and a much younger population than western countries, leading to a large outward emigration.

Compare this to Western countries where conversion out of Christianity is barely even a consideration among other Westerners and certainly not something worth killing over.

Some reasons for this growth are:

1. High Birth Rate in Muslim-majority countries, typical of impoverished societies. This is considered to main reason for the growth of Islam.

5. Islam is also seen as an attractive alternative to Christianity by some blacks and other minorities in Western nations, since Christianity is historically associated with oppression.
