While one submits an application for a liquor license to a local authority the fees for licenses are uniform across the state. A section 12 license, often called a "pouring license", entitles the sale of Alcoholic Beverages to be consumed on premises and is costs $200.00. Pouring licenses are divided into five classes: hotel, restaurant, tavern, club, and general-on-premises. These are further divided into four categories based on the category of alcoholic beverages permitted to be served; all-alcoholic, wine only, malt only, or wine and malt with specific regulations surrounding each.
