If you meant to ask, "What do Californians eat?" then I would answer with, "We eat everything." I can't truly account for every resident of the Golden state, but I do know that California is revered for many thing, and one of these is that it is one of the most diverse patches of land in the world. Ca population: 37.6 million and you can see our diversity at: http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/states/06000.html But that statistic doesn't even tell you that: The Asian pop is made of 21 different Asain cultures. -so we like lots of different Asian foods, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, etc. The Latino pop is 35% and made of dozens of middle American countries besides Mexico. -so we like Latin foods beyond tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and beans and rice. The same goes with our growing communities of Russians, middle easterns, African americans, south Americans, and so much more. -so we like just about any food around the world. And also, if I might add, we have a very strong populous of dieting people. So we have no-carb: a diet without any carbohydrates. low-carb: a diet with very little carbohydrates. vegetarians: a diet of no meat. vegans: a diet of no meat or animal product including eggs, dairy, or oil. pescatarian: a diet of no meat, except fish. raw: a diet of only fresh picked organic vegetables. And probably many more diets that I haven't encountered. So to ask, "What do Californians eat?" you might as well ask, "What do people eat?"
