What factor determines the pitch of a sound

Pitch is determined by sound wave frequency; how fast something is vibrating. High-pitched sounds are higher frequency meaning they are vibrating faster. Low pitch means they are vibrating slower.

What characterizes climate in middle latitudes

variety

What are clouds composed of

evaporation from the sea floats up and forms clouds. when the clouds become too heavy they perspire! and the whole process starts again

As air parcels cool due to expansion of the rising air mass, water vapor begins to condense on condensation nuclei such as dust, ice and salt. This process forms clouds.

What type of combustion fuels produces the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide

All carbon based fuels produce carbon dioxide when burned. These include:

  • fossil fuels (coal. oil, natural gas)
  • alcohols
  • bio-fuels (wood, charcoal, waste burning including cremation)
  • specialty industrial fuels (acetylene etc.)
  • carbon monoxide

Coal and petroleum are the two primary fossil fuels. Oxidizing methane also releases CO2, but that is 25 times better than releasing methane, itself an even more potent greenhouse gas.
Which of these does not contribute to changing seasons angle of incidence of solar radiation tilt of the earth on its axis distance between the earth and sun or revolution of the earth around the sun

The distance of the Earth from the sun does not contribute to the changing seasons. Although this distance does change (since the Earth's orbit is elliptical, not perfectly circular) the amount of the change is not great enough to affect the seasons. It is the angle of incidence of solar radiation, which in turn is affected by the axial tilt of the Earth and its revolution around the sun, which creates the changing seasons.
