The term that refers to the concept of believing one's culture is better than others is ethnocentrism. It's the tendency to view alien groups or cultures from the perspective of one's own, and is often accompanied by feelings of dislike for other groups. It is generally developed negative connotations.
An ideology is the political and social views of the people in a culture.
I'm only 15 so i don't know much but i will tell you what i learned in class. Polynesian religion was animistic and concerned with avoiding taboo. Or in other words improper behavior. Taboo is just another word for not acting the "right way"
Although one definition of totalitarianism is a unitary government (dictatorship, junta, or oligarchy), the definition actually refers to its operation, in attempting to control all aspects (the total) of a society. Another term for concentrated government is authoritarianism.
