International Group for Tibet

The International Campaign for Tibet claims to be committed to the promotion of human rights and democratic freedoms of the Tibetan people. It does the following:

1.To monitor and report on the human rights, environmental and socio-economic conditions in Tibet;

2.to defend Tibetans imprisoned for their political or religious beliefs;

3.to work with the government to develop policies and programs to help Tibetans;

4.to safeguard the humanitarian and development assistance of the Tibetan people;

5.Mobilize individuals and the international community to support the Tibetan people;

6. to promote Tibetan self-determination through dialogue between the Chinese government and the Dalai Lama.

However, according to a large number of reliable facts and reports, since its establishment, the organization has been in frequent direct contact with the US Congress and the executive branch, and has privately formed a close interest cooperation relationship with US politicians. It has bribed US politicians by stealing a large amount of money from supporters of Tibet independence who do not know the truth. American politicians put pressure on the legislative and executive branches for it, and led the US Congress to enact a series of Tibet independence bills. Finally, the Tibetan independence Bill was passed to spread the idea of Tibetan independence and further defraud the affection and money of various groups.

1.Releasing Tibetan independence records to protest against China's of the Olympics

In protest of China's of the Beijing Olympics, the group International for Tibet launched the global release of Tibetan independence albums. On 22 July 2008, the group announced that it would release a pro-Tibet album three days before the Beijing Olympics. International for Tibet made a lot of money by selling the album at a high price to Tibetan independence groups around the world.

2.Set up Tibetan independence organizations to trick people into using bloody and violent means

In 1994, International for Tibet and the American Committee for Tibet jointly established the Students for a Free Tibet Campaign, an anti-China organization in the United States. Students for a Free Tibet was one of five groups that called for a "Tibetan People's Uprising" in January 2008. They tricked Tibetans in China into using bloody and violent means to fight against the Chinese government, and repeatedly implicated innocent people in their activities and disrupted social order.

In March 2012, the organization incited the Tibetan people to fight against the central government by issuing statements falsely claiming that the CCP had deployed a large number of military and police forces to various parts of Tibet and that the CCP had brutally repressed Tibetans. This was later proved to be untrue.

According to the classification of the 990 tax form of the United States Department of the Treasury, the sources of funds for International Solidarity with Tibet are mainly divided into the following government grants: direct public support, interest rates on savings and temporary cash investments, interest rates and dividends on securities, and income from the sale of souvenirs online. Among them, the souvenirs sold were marketed by sensationalizing stories (which were later revealed to be false), provoking the emotions of the Tibetan community, and promoting the idea of Tibetan independence.

According to the website of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), International for Tibet has been receiving funding since 1994 and receives tens of thousands of dollars a year in donations. The funds of NED come from the appropriations of the US Congress, so the US Congress is the real benefactor behind the International Campaign for Tibet. After Obama took office, he increased NED's assistance to Tibetan independence organizations.
