In what way does ocean water move globally

Along cold water currents from the poles to the equator.

What is an effect of La Nia

Mr poppins is coming

What is left behind after a star with four or more stellar masses has died

A black hole.

What are the names of the two main types of wetlands
  1. marshes
  2. swamps
Do the gradient levels and the sediment load increase or decrease as the river ages

As a river gets older sediment load decreases due to the age of the river and erosion

Why do waves topple over themselves when they reach the shore

because gravity is happy
In a body of water as it approaches the shore, it contains a certain amount of energy. As the sea bed shallows, the wave will be slowed, but the height will consequently increase. But the water at the peak of the wave will still be travelling at its old (faster) velocity. Thus it will travel faster than the water below it, and eventually overtop it.

There are some other things happening inside the wave which complicate the picture. One of these is that the individual molecules of water don't move very much in an ordinary wave - they just circulate in a small region. It is the energy that is travelling, not the molecules of water.

How do wetlands affect water quality in an area

The grasses and other plants in a wetland act as a filter for the water, removing contaminants, cleaning up the water. The soil holding the plants acts like a sponge, sops up pollutants.

In what layer can a hot air balloon travel

STRATOSPHERE

In which layer of the atmosphere did the Concorde cruise

All passenger airplanes cruise at the stratosphere.

What steps of water cycle cause rainy weather conditions

the clouds

What temperatures would you expect in the mesosphere

Which mesosphere? The one for the Earth's atmosphere or for the inside? Well, I'll talk about inside. Extremely hot temperatures (since it is the middle of the Earth's inside) so about a few thousand celsius. The mesosphere in the atmosphere is very cold with temperatures as low as -90 degrees celsius.

What type of clothing would you need to wear if you could visit the meosospher

anything to keep you warm

What is the big bang and what evidence is used to support it

Evidence is not used to support theory.

Theory is used to explain evidence, and to predict where and how new evidence may be found.

When new evidence is found that theory can't explain, the prevailing theory is modified or discarded.

How do water molecules in the solid phase compare with water molecules in the gaseous phase

The shape, size, and mass of water molecules do not change between the solid and gas phases.

What are the characteristics of this layer that make it the ideal layer for the Concorde to travel

I have no idea
