Are you pregnant when the pregnancy test say positive even though bit faint?

a line is a line.. and 2 lines means a positive test.. however your light line can just be from testing pretty early! or it could be due to a chemical pregnancy, in which case your period would start. To know, I would say to do another test again in a couple days, with the first urine of the morning and see if it gets darker or has gone negative. ~pawsalmighty

Umm. Yeah. Same thing happened to me with the pregnancy of my second son. It may be a mistake, but it's unlikely. Go to the Dr. and make sure most likely, yes you are. however, to be sure i would take another test. preferably one that test for early pregnancy horemones (an increase in chorionic gonadotropin). the early pregnancy test that is the walgreens brand is one of the best at testing for an elevation in this horemone (it cost about 7-8 dollars). it is also possible that you did not wait long enough for your results or did not take the test properly. either way i would take another one.

In general, if even a faint positive line shows the result is positive. This is only true if the test is read in the time window mentioned by the manufacturers, or if you are not on any medications which may give a false positive.

Yes this does mean you are pregnant as hcg has been detected in your urine. See your Doctor for confirmation.

A false positive result is exceedingly rare. The result may be light positive because you have tested too early or are not as far along into your pregnancy as you thought.

It is unlikely a pregnancy test would show positive this early but some women have claimed to have a positive 10-14 days after conception. So in this case, it is possible.

yes you are more than likely pregnant, go to the doctors and get a blood test done, it is more accurate than home pregnancy tests
