everytime i get into trouble my dad hits me and throws me against objects.

No, that could be an issue that needs to be brought to the attention of the state's deparment of family and children's services. The definiton of emotional abuse has a very broad interpetation in the eyes of the law. It is highly unlikely that such a charge could be found valid by a social service investigator unless there mitigating circumstances.

He/She can leave if the surroundings of their home life are unstable to a point where they feel abused, ie;( emotionally, physically, and/or sexually) Once they leave however, if they do not go to live with another adult such as family or friends that are of age (18) to be legally responsible for them until they become "adults", then family services may become involved. It also depends on the state where the minor is living, some states declare adulthood for situations like that to be as young as 16 and even through the age of 19. Yes, if you can prove photographically to the court that you are infact being abused, & that your close family will support you fully. But it's not an easy process, you also have to have your current guardian agree, but it is in the best interest of the child so you may just get moved.

The law also varies by state, in Texas (where i live the law is if you prove you are being abused they pull you from that home & send you to a blood relative that will care for you correctly.)

If there is abuse, social services can remove them from the home. They can apply for emancipation, but having a job doesn't mean that the can take care of their needs. And most states consider the parent's permission a key part of allowing the emancipation to be granted.
