NO! AIDS is not curable! I don't care what anyone says! There is no cure. There is only medicine to enhance your life while you are living with AIDS. The only way to make sure you dont catch HIV is to not have sexual encounters in ANY way.

At this moment - no. But with the right medication it can be supressed for quite some time. Supressed means that you still carry the virus, but you don't get sick from it or spread it. People being treated can lead relatively normal lives.

The new answer is a hopeful "maybe". There are three cases (of which I'm aware) where a cure *seems* to have been achieved, however doctors and scientists are still cautious about declaring the disease curable.

Until now there is no cure in form of drug or vaccine. The cART anti retroviral therapy can extend the life expectancy of a patient. Researches are still ongoing to design a potential drug.

I'm not 100% certain what you're trying to ask, but currently there is no "cure" for HIV, though the treatments for it have gotten pretty good; with proper treatment, life expectancy for a person with HIV is not THAT much less than for a person without it.

If you're asking if it's possible that someday there will be an actual cure ... sure, that's possible, though I suspect a vaccine is likely to be developed first.
