yes, leukemia can kill you, but only if it is not treated. Leukemia is a blood cancer. In leukemia the bone marrow and lymph system goes haywire producing white blood cells. It weakens the immune system and leaves the human body open to basically any sickness and the body is not able to fight it and could result in death.

It can be. If you get it when you're younger, there's a 90% chance of survival. My cousin currently has leukemia & he's turning two in June. When I say younger, I mean like that age to like early teens. Later than that, you need treatment.

Hodgkins Lymphoma can kill if it is undiagnosed or if left untreated and it grows. If properly treated, Hodgkins in Stage 1 or 2 has a 5 year survival rate of above 90-95%, giving essentially a "cure". Treatment is generally performed with 6 or more cycles of Chemotherapy (one cycle every 2 weeks) followed by three weeks of daily radiation treatments as a "clean-up" of any remaining cancer cells that remain in the internal "scar" from the tumor. As everyone knows, Cancer has 4 stages,

Stage 1: Cancer has been diagnosed, Cancer has not spread and is very small.

Stage 2: Cancer has become bigger and starts to spread. Patient needs to have an operation immediately or have Chemotherapy before Cancer spreads even more.

Stage 3: Cancer has started to spread a lot and has become much bigger, This is a 50% chance of surviving. Chemotherapy or an operation could only be the option to save the patient.

Stage 4: Cancer has spread everywhere and is very big. Too late for any treatment as it will be useless. Patient will die shortly.

If anyone has Blood Cancer (Leukemia), They need to be on Stage 3 or 4 to have a risk of dying. However, even with treatment on Stage one or two, The cancer can still spread. Some patients have too many cancer cells, for the treatment to kill. It's difficult to say whether someone's going to die or not, but it's easy to say how big a risk they've got to die.
