Can obesity be considered a disability?

No it is not considered a disibility, atleast not that im aware of anyway! Yes and no (at least in Canada.) Just because you have Diabetes doesn't mean you can't work, but, if you should have complications from diabetes (losing toes or a leg) then yes, you can claim on disibility if you can't go to work.

A disability is any physical or mental disorder that limits a major life activity for a person. Diabetes insipidus is a condition resulting from diabetes involving excessive thirst and urine irregularities. It's doubtful that this condition would lead to a recognized disability. Instead, the complications arising from diabetes, which manifests itself in the condition of insipidus, would eventually lead to a disabling condition such as kidney failure, eye disease, or nerve damage.

Diabetes causes "conditions", one of which is the thirst/urine issues seen in insipidus. Other diabetic conditions would result in disability, not the insipidus.

Diabetes is a disease. It's when your pancreas produces little or no insulin. It doesn't have a cure yet. Hope I helped (:
