It is extremely unlikely that you will get hepatitis C from a restaurant. Hepatitis C is spread from blood to blood. A cook would need to spill his own blood on an item. You would need to eat that item and it would need to enter your body through an open sore in your mouth. If the virus gets as far as your stomach, it is dead.

Hepatitis A spreads far easier in a restaurant. If you see a cook use a bathroom and he does not wash his hands, walk out of that restaurant.
