It is not likely. After a certain point in your pregnancy you are going to have a positive result no matter how close to your period you are taking the test. If you feel that you are pregnant but keep testing negative, it could be a phantom pregnancy (which is where you basically fool yourself and your mind into thinking you are pregnant).Your symptoms of pregnancy will usually appear anywhere from the first week of your expected period to 1-2 weeks after your first week of expected period. Your first signs of pregnancy most commonly include missed period, tender/swollen breasts, change in color of the breasts, fatigue, nausea/vomiting, increased sense of smell, and weight gain. Here is a link to a website that will calculate the probability of your pregnancy: http://www.thepregnancytest.com/ There are several things that can contribute to a negative pregnancy test even if you are pregnant. Some medications can give you a false negative, the timing of the test can affect the results. If you did not follow directions properly; if you let the test sit for too long the results may read negative after a while. It is important to read the results within the amount of time given on the instructions of that particular pregnancy test you bought. If you did not perform the test properly (example: you drank a lot of fluids before taking the test, which can dilute your urine). Etc To ensure the best results: Take the test in the morning, if possible, because your hCG (pregnancy hormone) levels are at it's highest Don't drink a bunch of fluids before taking the test because it will dilute your urine and can affect the results Take the test no more than 1 day before expected period. Although some test say that you can see results up to 5 days before your missed period, the percentage of accuracy is very low. urinate for as long as possible on the foam-like strip Check the results in the window frame of time suggested by the instructions of the pregnancy test.

A chemical pregnancy is typically diagnosed through a pregnancy test that shows positive results followed by negative results soon after, or through a blood test that detects the presence of hCG (pregnancy hormone) that later decreases. It is often characterized by early pregnancy loss before a gestational sac can be seen on an ultrasound.
A pseudo pregnancy is when a woman goes through all the symptoms of being pregnant, but is not pregnant at all. It is usually known as a "phantom pregnancy."
Hard telling really. I took 2 hpts before I started bleeding and they were positive. Then when I was bleeding I took 2 more and they were negative. Haven't gone to the doctor yet. So I'm not real sure if the blood interferes with the results or not. For a sure pregnancy test you should go to your doctor. .
ok i have been in this situation and i know how you fell but pregnancy tests are pretty accurate, and especially if you took them after your period taking 2 that leaves like no room for mistake so chances are they are true, the symptoms you have could just be all in your head to so i wouldn't worry to to much about it
How long have you been having the symptoms for and how close to the symptoms pregnant women normally have ? It might be that you're far along for the home pregnancy test to pick it up. if you feel like you are having proper symptoms then you can go down to your local GP and have a blood test done. It doesn't mean that all home pregnancy tests are wrong but it gives you the extra bit of confidence for you. There is no way the blood test could be wrong. On the other side, there is something called a phantom pregnancy. I've had this myself, it's when your body thinks your pregnant however you're not. Nothing much can be done about it as it's just your hormones, but it just means your body's going through the motions of it. Hope this helped you in some way.

At first my periods were regular and on time. Then after my last period it was late so just like you I waited and ended up forgetting about my period took two tests and went to the womens clinic and sure enough I was pregnant. So if you don't start by the end of this week make you an appointment.
