How long have you been having the symptoms for and how close to the symptoms pregnant women normally have ?

It might be that you're far along for the home pregnancy test to pick it up. if you feel like you are having proper symptoms then you can go down to your local GP and have a blood test done. It doesn't mean that all home pregnancy tests are wrong but it gives you the extra bit of confidence for you. There is no way the blood test could be wrong.

On the other side, there is something called a phantom pregnancy. I've had this myself, it's when your body thinks your pregnant however you're not. Nothing much can be done about it as it's just your hormones, but it just means your body's going through the motions of it.

Hope this helped you in some way.

What if my pregnancy test was negative but I have pregnancy symptoms?

Wait a few days and take another test. It's possible you got a false negative, or you just don't have enough of the pregnancy hormone in your urine to show up positive. The hormone doubles each day, so if you are still experiencing pregnancy symptoms in 5-10 days, take another test. If it's still negative and you are experiencing pregnancy symptoms, seek medical advice.

You may be pregnant but took the test too early or its a false negative. A blood type is most accurate.

If you take a pregnancy test and it comes out negative but you the pregnancy symptoms Could you be pregnant?

You could by a small chance, but, you might also imagine the symptoms (phantom pregnancy). Or your pregnancy is too small at the moment. Try testing again in a week or two (when your period hasn't started). If still negative and you got the symptoms and no period then go see a doctor.

If i have got a coil the hpt test is positive but the doctors blood test is negative and i have all the symptoms of pregnancy can i still be pregnant?

sometime hpt gives false positive... if you took a doctor's urine pregnancy test and came back negative then ask for a blood test--a blood test will tell you if you are pregnant or not- even if you have low hcg in your urine-and yes you could still pregnant with all the symptoms---best of health

No, if you're having a miscarriage, the pregnancy test will still be positive as you're passing the pregnancy.

I am having pregnancy symptoms and i did test twice it was negative?

It could be a 'phantom pregnancy' or the real thing. It's certainly possible to get a negative result and still be pregnant. If you're getting negative self-test results but you're sure you are - go see your doctor and ask him to do a blood test. He'll be able to do a far more accurate test.
