Unfortunately, yes, you can sprain your neck very easily. You can turn your head too sharly and sprain it. But it depends on an individuals general state of health and fitness, how delicate their body is.
Relax, don't stress, don't move to quickly, sitting with a pillow around it helps aswell I have broken mine an it doesn't feel good I have to admit! Just be careful :)
