I think that's often the case when it comes to concentrating on the things which they're not really interestd in. Their mind goes off a lot to the things they they are interested in, & on those things, they are "Extra focussed". Or at least; that's what I'm like. I don't think i's a problem for everybody with ASD, but I do know that ADD is quite a common co-morbid of autism.
