Does Ativan cause seizures

Ativan is used in the treatment of anxiety disorders. Anxiety is a psychological disorder. Epilepsy is a physical disorder. Ativan will not cause seizures.

EDIT: What the original poster said is patently false. Some people - like myself, an Epileptic - react negatively to Ativan. The drug caused me to have multiple seizures everyday consecutively. This of course is naturally extremely uncommon, so you most likely won't experience this. Nonetheless if you find yourself having seizures without a prior history or at a higher rate than usual you will want to consult your physician. Epilepsy is also a neurological, not physical disorder.
