People who are dying, their relaxes are slower and they most generally do not swallow the way that you would to get phlegm down the back of their throat. You'll usually notice that if you clear the persons mouth out from back to front with a swab they will not do it as much. yes. strep throat is extremly contagious. dont let anyone drink after you unless they want strep. i know cuz i get strep at least once a year.

Well I'm not a doctor, but I do know that after you quit smoking you occasionally cough up phlegm for anywhere up to a year after you quit. This is an effect from the lungs healing themselves.
I don't think you need to worry much about the way your uvula hangs. After all, who said that your throat should be perfectly symmetrical? I'd say you have nothing to fear. Take care.
