Some studies suggest that using colored overlays or tinted lenses, such as blue, may help certain individuals with dyslexia improve reading comfort and comprehension. The theory is that specific colors can reduce visual stress and enhance text clarity. However, the effectiveness varies among individuals, and not all dyslexic people find colored aids helpful. It's important for each person to explore different strategies to find what works best for them.

No, Dyslexia is a Specific Learning Difficulty that can be genetic, it's important to realise that it is not an illness. It's believed that you are born Dyslexic, rather than you become Dyslexic. Though apparently there have been cases where people have become Dyslexic after major head injuries. (I don't know if it's true or how common it's, I just read it on a few web pages) Those of us who are Dyslexic are more prone to having really high levels of anxiety, which can cause panic attacks and other anxiety problems. These problems don't help the dyslexic and they make the dyslexic symptoms/traits more noticeable and problematic. If you are interested in the subject area you should look up Dyslexia and your home country and/or area because the meaning of Dyslexia can vary.
There are tons of ways to teach a dyslexic. You can have them read everything. From road signs, to nutrition labels, and have them read aloud to you every night. You can also use green goggles, a way of making the brain correct itself without using drugs, its simple, but can sometimes be expensive. Good luck!

Actually there have been many studies on the subject. People with dyslexia often have high IQ's and there have also been many scientists and very smart known people who are dyslexic. Ex Albert Einstein Walt Disney.
I'm dyslexic, and I read normally. The only difference is comprehension of words might be slowed and sometimes the word would look messed up (like switching two letters-- ex. solw instead of slow). When I read to myself, I do fine most of the time, but if I read out loud, I have trouble.
