I have type one and i got it from ( not eating sweets ) but pancreas problems. My pancreas doesn't work. I can't get rid of my type one. I am 9 right now i was diagnosed when i was 4 i have had it a long time. Its a pain. So it causes from pancreas problems. Basically your pancreas died. You can't fix this problem.
