Yes, it's possible you are pregnant. Go see a doctor or take a home test to find out for sure. If you aren't pregnant, you still need to see a doctor if you haven't had your period for two months. It isn't normally healthy for a women not to have her period.

Hi. I hope you are OK. My initial reaction is that if you are having a period then no, you aren't pregnant, but I would suggest you go here http://www.plannedparenthood.org/ and ask for free advice anonymously, or get a pregnancy kit from the supermarket, or see a doctor if you have access to one. Most large towns have some sort of free clinic listed in the phone book. This seems to me to be a rather dangerous lifestyle, and there's probably a limit to the number of bullets you can Dodge. I'm not going to get all religious on you or anything like that because I'm not religious, but perhaps this could serve as a wakeup call to you to protect yourself as much as you can by at least not forgetting to take your regular Birth Control pills (which, by themselves, are still not 100 percent guaranteed protection.) Remember, if you are under age 18, your partners are guilty of statutory rape carrying a stiff prison sentence, whether you are having sex of your own free will or not. I truly hope you are just a careless young lady, and not someone being forced into sex by threats of violence or the whining and pleading of some young man who is, presumably, not sharing you current anxiety. This might be easier said than done, but if you are being forced into sex you can also get free anonymous legal advice in most towns. Calling any attorney's office should be able to tell you where the nearest free legal clinic is located and their hours and phone number. If absolutely nothing else, if you are being forced into sex I suggest you go to your parents. No matter what your relationship with them, I suspect it would be a strange parent who would not react to protect a daughter who is being forced into a dangerous sexual relationship. You are not just risking getting pregnant here; you are at risk from a variety of unpleasant diseases if not, heaven forbid, a case of AIDS. Be careful, get help from anywhere you can, and protect your life. Phil

Anything's Possible...There could be several reasons behind the bleeding. Some birth control pills are known to cause "spotting" throughout your cycle, not just when you have your period. However, there is always a possibility of being pregnant if you're having sex at all. Therefore, the best thing to do is to go to a clinic and get checked out both for sexually transmitted diseases (no matter who your partner is/was and how much you may trust them), as well as being tested for pregnancy. If you feel more comfortable, bring a family member or friend with you to give you moral support. Don't be embarrassed!! I work in a medical clinic and we see people in this situation all the time. It is much scarier NOT knowing and waiting than it is to find out immediately for yourself. If you take the pill properly (which means at the same time every day and without missing any pills) than your chances of being pregnant are greatly decreased (almost completely). So get checked and give your racing mind a break so you can sleep again!!

it is impossible to have a period and still be pregnant. when you are pregnant the baby attaches to your uterine lining and a period is the shedding of your uterine lining so if you were to have a period during pregnancy that would be known as a miscarriage. it is however possible to have light spotting while pregnant but that is not a period.

If you missed 5 birth control pills and took the morning after pill and missed your period could you still get pregnant?

Yes. Plan B does not guarantee that you are not/will not get pregnant. First of all, Plan B only works if taken within 72 hours of the first time you had unprotected sex (and the sooner, the better). So if you took Plan B five days after you had unprotected sex, it will not work. Also, as mentioned before, Plan B does not guarantee that you will not become pregnant (even if taken correctly). Plan B works better the sooner you use it. If it is taken as directed within 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex, it can significantly decrease the chance that you will become pregnant. About 7 out of every 8 women who would have gotten pregnant will not become pregnant. Plan B works even better if taken within the first 24 hours after unprotected sex.

I am 7 days late on your period could I be pregnant?

It is quite possible if you have unprotected sex. The missed period is the most recognizable symptoms of pregnancy. I would suggest that you take a pregnancy test to determine and possibly get started on your prenatal care.
