Viruses are quite smart for something that lacks a literal brain in there, I will give it that, alright 😂

There are some which I could somewhat remember that have interesting abilities to evade the host immune response and I will be talking about the human one.

  1. Ebola Virus/EBOV: Produces a lot of free decoy spike proteins into the host's bloodstream causing a lot of inflammatory response from the white blood cells entering the blood vessels, making the vessels too permeable hence the haemorrhage. This is the cytokine storm.
  2. Human respiratory syncitial virus/HRSV: This virus produces like 2 or 3 immune suppressive proteins to prevent the production of interferon-alpha, which is super essential for us during a viral infection, and some other host immune response.
  3. Herpes Simplex Virus-1/HSV-1: Infects and lives in neuronal cells near the lip area so it can evade host immune attack response since white blood cells can't attack them and the virus stays there for life, constantly causing cold sores and trying to reach the brain.
  4. Human Immunodeficieny Virus/HIV: This one doesn't infect any ordinary cell, this infects the T Helper cells which are crucial for activating the T Killer cells and B cells in the adaptive immune system branch. When there are no T Helper cells, the immune system fails, making the person vulnerable to many measly infections and also has high chance of getting cancer. They stay hidden for months and years until the person finds that they are suffering a lot and it is too late.
