This is a strange question because it is normally only transsexual Male-to-Female Transsexuals who seek "male breast enhancement". You haven't said whether this is you, but I can understand your reasons for withholding that information. If you are not Transgendered, it is unlikely you would benefit from what you call "male breast enlargement". So now you need to be really honest with yourself. Do you feel that you may be, perhaps, transsexual? This means that you suffer with the extreme form of Gender Dyshoria, a medically recognised condition. If you think you may be transsexual - and I suggest you look up differences in meaning between transgendered, transvestite and transsexual - you will need to see a Gender Identity Clinic (GIC). There are two ways you can do this.
One: you can go to your GP and ask to be referred to an NHS GIC. Once there, you will be assessed to see if you are genuinely suffering from profound Gender Dysphoria. If you are, you will at some point begin hormone therapy. For biologic males believing they are women, this will mean taking estrogen and probably an anti-androgen to kill testosterone. This is often necessary for breast growth in biologic males.
Two: you can go the private route. There are private sector clinics in the UK and although you will pay for your treatment (it IS expensive) there will be very minimal waiting times for hormone therapy, and if desired at a later time, surgery.
To give you an idea, you are looking at 6-12 months waiting time on NHS for your first GIC appointment. Conversely, you may get an initial assessment with a private practioner within 2 weeks if you are paying yourself. But it will cost roughly £200 for the first appointment and around £110 thereafter for follow-up. Also, because you are paying for it yourself, you tend to get hormones prescribed much more quickly than NHS. If you would like me to recommend a private practioner, please email me: joejoeyo@lycos.co.UK
Breast tissue needs estrogen to grow. Male breasts are not affected by estrogen normally, and should NOT be done because the changes are permanent.

Gynecomastia I a common side effect. Gynecomastia is overdevelopment of the male breast. In response to too much estrogen (a female hormone) or too little testosterone (a male hormone), the glandular tissue of the breast swells and forms a breast bud (enlarged breast).
I have used estrogen for about 7 years off and on.It will make your breast swell up a little and give you larger nipples.I believe you have to use a testosterone blocker for the estrogen to really work.
