Depending on the severity of the depression, it can be dealt with through either therapy sessions or prescription drugs. Many people will experience depression at some point in their life, and it can be a perfectly normal process, for example, in the case of the loss of a loved one. If however the depression lasts for more than two months then it is recommended to talk to your GP or a doctor in the first instance, or to a mental health professional.
There are also self-help books and audio recordings which many people find of benefit. Meditation can be a great help.
Depression is not simply a mental state, where things are perceived negatively, there is also a physical aspect to it too - depression, anxiety and mania are a result of a serotonin drop in the brain. SSRIs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors), SNRIs (serotonin noradrenaline reuptake inhibitors) and other anti-depressants all work on the basis of stabilising serotonin levels, bringing it back to normal levels. Interestingly Serotonin is directly linked to compulsive behaviour, also humans have a lot of emotions that are not allowed to come out properly (ie anger, sexual desire, pain, even love and happiness).
It's not something you can completely "get rid of" but having your child see a therapist to find the root of the depression will help in reducing it.
get rid of your problem or you will just have to get therapy
If you want to get rid of depression, think of happy times that you have had with someone you really get along with or spend some time with them. If that doesn't work go on holiday or somewhere were you enjoy being!
Depression is not something that you can just get rid of. It takes a lot of time and effort on your half to talk about the problem, possibly get on some type of medication for depression and just trying to work it out. I have had depression for 3 years since my grandfather passed and I am still dealing with it with medication and with counseling.

I don't think so, but there is no medical answer, there are only opinions. Talk to your doctor.
Try homemade remedies such as putting on a honey mask every night to get rid of scarring.

From experience, depression and being in darkness, darkness is what you are in when you are depressed. I have tried many, many things to get rid of mine. You need to somehow stop worrying about the thing/things that are causing your depression. Start taking 800 iu's of Vitamin E but depends on your age. Also, start praying to God for his help is essential.
