I also had my appendix removed and this was now almost 4 to 5 years ago,myne also dips in,unfortunatley after seeing many doctors ect there is nothing really that can change the fact they dip,so there isnt a way to 'get rid' all together, it's based on the way the surgeon done it and also the way it was sewn back up,if your stomach is chubby this will also make the indent more obvious,thats why i try to keep myne as flat and toned as possible,i'm also thinking of getting a tattoo on the scar,to try and make it less obvious,
unfortunatley you cannot get rid of it completely,
