There are many useful vocal warm-up exercises. "Mi Mi Mi Mi Mi Mi". LOL :D You can go up and down scales in your vocal range, sing tongue twisters and lots more. One I really like is Numbers.
If you play the piano, start on middle C (or wherever your voice starts). Sing straight up until you get to G. Sing numbers(1,2,3,4,5). And then sing back down again(5,4,3,2,1). Then alternate numbers, always gong back to 5 (1,5,4,5,3,5,2,5,1,4,3,2,1). Then sing it again but a bit differently (1,5,4,5,3,5,2,5,1,5,4,5,6,7,8). Go up to A,B and C on 6,7 and 8. So the whole thing together is 1,5,4,5,3,5,2,5,1,5,4,5,3,2,1 (pause for a second, breathe) 1,5,4,5,3,5,2,5,1,5,4,5,6,7,8
Here are so others:
Vowel sounds(Ah,Eh,Oh,Uy)
Mama made MASH my M&M (pronounced m-en-nems)
Nani,Nani,Nani,Nani Na (make it sound nasily and witchy, it helps)
Hope this helped!
The vocal cords start to stretch. The longer the cords the deeper the voice.
yes
The vocal cords stretch across the larynx
The vocal cords become tight, squeeze together, and force air from the lungs to move between them. The air causes the vocal cords the vibrate and produce sound
To properly stretch your vocal cords, start by doing gentle warm-up exercises like humming or lip trills. Then, do vocal exercises that focus on range and flexibility. Avoid straining your voice and stay hydrated. Practice good vocal hygiene and consider working with a vocal coach for guidance.
their vocal cords stretch as they age, such as when one goes through puberty
When the vocal cords are stretched, the pitch of the sound produced is generally higher. This is because stretching the vocal cords results in increased tension, which causes them to vibrate at a faster rate and produce a higher frequency sound.
