A few things, people started to spread out more and develop new towns and cities to escape the plague epidemic in the larger cities. Population growth was curbed and economic factors improved due to the strain on resources being lessened.

Basicly there was more food and jobs available for the people who were left afterward to their quality of life improved, people were less confined to the cities in large numbers so they were eating better, their environment was cleaner, and they had money to spend.

The bubonic plague affected economic development in medieval times by?

The bubonic plague significantly disrupted economic development in medieval times by drastically reducing the population, which led to labor shortages. This scarcity of workers allowed surviving laborers to demand higher wages, shifting the balance of power towards the working class. Additionally, the decline in population resulted in decreased demand for goods, causing a reduction in production and trade activities. Ultimately, these changes contributed to the gradual transition from feudal economies to more market-oriented systems.
