Depends on what you mean by poor diet. If your talking about junk food (Pizza, potato chips etc.) then you need to gradually cut back on them. Maybe instead of having a bowl of Capn' Crunch in the morning, you have some Special K. Don't oversnack either. Make sure that when you do eat in-between meals that it's healthy. (fruits, veggies) Also plan out your three main meals and make sure not skip one.
