P0102 on a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix or Grand Dam indicates there is an issue with the Mass Air Flow sensor. This can occur if the Mass Air Flow sensor has disconnected or the wiring is faulty. First, you will need to inspect the wires to be sure none of them are frayed or damaged. If you are still receiving the error, remove the sensor and apply brake cleaner. If all else fails, the sensor will need to be replaced.
Look at wiring on MAF sensor (air intake) You're lucky-it's a cheap one.
P0102 = MAF or VAF A Circuit low input
your mass air flow senser has low frequency (replace it)
had same problem washer pump worked fine i found that out by cuting wires and hooking direct to battery so the next step was for me to put in a 2 way toggle switch and find a place to mount it and now i use the toggle switch and it works fine so rewire worked for me you can fix it yourself and save big $
Code PO102 is referring to the mass air flow sensor. The maf sensor tells the computer how much air is being taken ino the engine so it will know how much fuel is required. You need to check for any vacuum leaks or loose clamps on the air intake hose.
There are 4 different codes regaurding the MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR. P0068 P0101 Po102 P0103
you more than likely have a vaccum leak or you have a bad fuel pressure regulating valve. Could be one or more good luck.
