Dry, rough elbows are a common problem. Long sleeves, drying soaps, etc ... I've heard a lot of reasons as to why this happens. I think we just take our elbows for granted and forget that they are covered in skin just like our knees, feet and hands. :-) It needs moisture just like the rest of our skin. The best remedy for dry skin is exfoliating gently and then moisturizing, moisturizing, moisturizing. I have found that a good soap, excellent lotion and changing my habits have helped me keep my skin looking young and fresh. I get compliments all the time on my soft skin and face. We make our own goat milk soaps, lotions and creams. They really do wonders for your skin.
