I found that simply by eating more and more at each meal, I started to crave a greater amount of food each time, so my recommendation is to just start eating a ton, and slowly work your way up. Also, if you are in a situation where you need to gain weight or just eat a lot of anything immediately, it's always easiest to eat a lot of what you love. So, if you like doughnuts, you could find it easy to eat 6 doughnuts, and it's the same with cake, and ice cream, and Pizza, and so on.
